HCL Technologies Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1165.55, down 0.83% on the day as on 13:24 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.61% on the day, quoting at 17648.05. The Sensex is at 59110.06, down 0.6%.HCL Technologies Ltd has eased around 4.68% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty IT index of which HCL Technologies Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 2.13% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36662.2, down 1.26% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 37.73 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 51.52 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1173.2, down 0.57% on the day. HCL Technologies Ltd jumped 18.23% in last one year as compared to a 22.8% rally in NIFTY and a 36.66% spurt in the Nifty IT index.

The PE of the stock is 38.3 based on TTM earnings ending December 21.
