MCX crude oil breaks above Rs 5600 per bareel

WTI Crude oil edged up in afternoon trades, cutting some of the recent losses and recovering from a two-month low as focus shifted to global geopolitical scenario. WTI Crude is currently trading at $64.09 per barrel, up 0.33% on the day as US President Donald Trump's deadline for Russia to end its war in Ukraine approached today. MCX Crude oil swiftly rose from lows around Rs 5550 per barrel and currently trades at Rs 5625 per barrel, up 0.37% on the day. The counter hit a high of Rs 5659 per barrel in intraday moves.
