The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,408, a premium of 9.15 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 18,398.85 in the cash market. In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 84.05 points or 0.46% to settle at 18,398.85. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 2.48% to 13.17. Tata Motors, DLF and Adani Enterprises were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
