The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,325.10, a premium of 38.6 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 18,286.50 in the cash market. In the cash market, the Nifty 50 slipped 112.35 points or 0.61% to settle at 18,286.50. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 0.91% to 13.29. RIL, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
