The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,230.50, a premium of 27.1points compared with the Nifty's closing of 18,203.40 in the cash market. In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 73.45 points or 0.41% to settle at 18,203.40. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, slipped 3.84% to 12.30. State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank and Adani Enterprises were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
