At 10:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was down 10.98 points or 0.01% to 66,107.71. The Nifty 50 index shed 6.85 points or 0.03% to 19,709.60.

In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index added 0.10% while the S&P BSE Small-Cap index rose 0.58%.

The market breadth was strong. On the BSE, 2,043 shares rose and 1,193 shares fell. A total of 171 shares were unchanged.

New Listing:

Shares of Yatra Online were currently trading at Rs 134.50 at 10:29 IST on the BSE, representing a discount of 5.28% as compared with the issue price of Rs 142.

The scrip was listed at Rs 130, exhibiting a discount of 8.45% to the issue price.

So far, the stock has hit a high of 137.75 and a low of 127.40. On the BSE, over 4.30 lakh shares of the company were traded in the counter so far.

Buzzing Index:

The Nifty PSU Bank index rose 1.15% to 5,293.40. The index added 1.98% in two trading sessions.

Indian Overseas Bank (up 4.89%), Central Bank of India (up 4.35%), Punjab & Sind Bank (up 3.7%), Bank of Maharashtra (up 3.16%), UCO Bank (up 3.02%), Indian Bank (up 2.12%), Bank of India (up 1.38%), Canara Bank (up 1.22%), Union Bank of India (up 0.83%) and State Bank of India (up 0.48%) advanced.

Stocks in Spotlight:

SJVN added 0.83%. The power generation company on Wednesday announced that it has commenced the mechanical spinning of unit-I of 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Electric Project (NMHEP) at Mori, Uttarakhand.

Aurobindo Pharma declined 0.56%. The pharma company said that its wholly owned subsidiary, Auro Vaccines has entered into a licence agreement with Hilleman Laboratories Singapore Pte to manufacture pentavalent vaccine.

KP Energy advanced 3.07% after the company said that it has commissioned the 10.5 MW (Phase-V) ISTS-connected wind power project at Sidhpur site in Gujarat's Dwarka for Apraava Energy.
